In Loving Memory...

2 years have come and gone, and we are each still missing you.
You were what I would call, "Old Faithful"...not because you were old...:) But because anytime we were to call, you were always happy to answer the phone.
Come for a visit??
You were the first to greet us.
You would come everyday to see us and stay until bedtime.
My birthday? You were ALWAYS the first to call.
Who else could I send tons of pictures to of my kids, and know that you would never say, "Good grief, she keeps sending me all of these boring pictures."
You were the Faithful kind...the one that we could always rely on.
I miss you Grandma. I would give anything to pick up the phone, just one more time and tell you that I love you.
I remember growing up with you. You spanking me when I walked down the road with no adults. "HI GRANDMA!!"
Taking us camping in Idaho...catching my first fish with you and Grandpa. Falling into Big Elk...
Having you live with us in Arizona...
And visiting you in Campo after you moved over there.
You came to visit us here, and always enjoyed seeing the farm.
You were the Faithful one.
I know you are resting in peace now.
We are all doing alright. We just miss you.
It was YOU who kept our family connected.
Since you left, things just haven't been the same.
Until we see you again...
We love you.

Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

When playing this video, push stop on the music on the right side column to stop the other christmas music playing. When done the other music again!

Nicki's Recital...

Nicki had her Christmas Recital on Saturday. She sang, "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree".
She did a great job. In the end, she had a bit of a fumble with her words, but held it together to finish just fine. I am still figuring out my digital, and I forgot that when videoing, it is not good to zoom, it makes the video blurry. You will see in the video above. But her voice comes through great.
Here she is just after singing.

During the song, there is a long bridge of music, so Nicki handed out
candy canes to the audience during that time.
Here is Joe enjoying his treat.

The cows couldn't resist coming out in the snow.
This one was jumping and running around having
a great time.

She decided to come on over for a friendly pet.
The cow behind her is not so sure.

Ryan was too cold in the snow, so we made
him his own cup of snow...
This is a VERY happy little boy!!

Happy Birthday Joey!! December 1, 2007

Well, Joe made it to his 7th birthday!
Happy Birthday Joey!!

This year is all about Hockey...

Uncle Mike and Auntie Varley gave Joe tickets to his very first hockey game.
He was one happy little boy. And even happier that his team won!

Well, it has been awhile since I have updated this watch out...there is going to be a LONG update! It might take 2 pages, so be sure to click "older posts" at the bottom of the page, to see if there is something you have missed in our "exciting life"!! :)

So...we told the kids we were going to California, and that made them very happy. But we didn't tell them the SURPRISE until the night before...We were going to Disneyland! They were quite surprised and very excited. We got to L.A., and went to The Pirates Dinner Adventure. Then the next day we went to Universal Studios. It was fun to watch their expressions as they saw things they don't normally see. Joe was very naive when stunts were being done, ducking everytime a gun was being shot our way. Finally asking me, "Mom, are those bullets real?" :) It was a reminder that he is only 6...nice to see he is still "little".
Then the next day was Disneyland and the following was California Adventure. Ryan didn't care to hug too many characters, but he fell in love with Goofy. Go figure...The rides were a sure hit...again, a few scareing Joey. The Indiana Jones ride was my favorite, and the kids liked the Matterhorn and Splash Mountain.
After all of the Amusement Parks, we headed down to see the FAMILY in Campo...

Rich, thanks so much for all of the fun. It was great to see Rusty after all those years, and great that it felt so comfortable. Your kids are GREAT...hope Lauren is adjusting alright.
Dad and Mom...thanks for all of the yummy meals! And thanks for having everyone over for us to see and visit.

I will stop rattling here and let you continue with the rest of the page and see the pictures...

Pirates Dinner Adventure

Our first night in L.A., we went to The Pirates Dinner Adventure
The kids had a great time...(Tony and I thought Midievil Times was much better...)
