Ryan Singing O Canada...

Here is a YOU TUBE link of Ryan singing O Canada...it is pretty funny. He started singing when I was putting Nicki's song on the computer. Then half way through, he see's me recording him, and starts to say "CHEESE" over and over again with some very silly faces.

September 14, 2007...Ryan turns 2!!!

George Canyon Concert...

For my birthday, Nicki and Tony took me to see George Canyon...
We had a GREAT time...Here are the pictures to share...


This picture shows Nicki going up to the stage
and showing George the sign she made for him. It said,
"It's a Good Day To Sing" :)
After looking at the poster and showing it to the crowd, he
asked her, "So...do I get to keep this, or do you want it back?"
Nicki thought about it for a little while, and responded with:
"Well, actually, I think I'd like it back."
ha.
(She did sign the poster for him and give it to him when he
signed her hat at the end of the night.)

This picture was taken after Nicki sang for George. She said, "Since he
is always singing for everyone, I want to sing him a song."
With that, she sang, "I'm Puny Short and Little, But I'm Loud".
He made her promise him that she wouldn't quite singing because she has something special.
You should have seen her glow after that!! :)

Just doing a test...

I heard about this "place" called PICASA...it is a place where you can download all of your pictures, and organize them. Then from there, you can post the pics to your blog...one easy step. Before I had to go to Photobucket, and download them...not too fast with dialup...but now this is looking much faster...Going to post this and see how it works! Yeah...I might be motivated to update my blog now! :)

Nicki and Joe started back to school today. Nicki is starting 3rd grade and Joe is starting 2nd. They were both up REALLY early and very excited to go. Took a few pictures to show off the day:

The Lynden Fair...

Well, we all went down to the Lynden Fair on August 14, where Nicki was to sing the Canadian and American Anthems. She performed at 1pm and 6pm, just before the horse shows.
She did a GREAT job despite a few speaker and microphone problems. She is showing she knows how to hold it together when things don't go completely right.
Thanks to many of our friends who came to watch her. It was fun to see each of you. Some we hadn't seen in soooo long! Grandma and Grandpa...sure did appreciate your lunch and help with Ryan...:) Thanks to Dani for taking pictures so I could nervously video Nicki! You took some great ones for me...see below:

Joey was very excited that later, he got to meet the Black Night! Look at the smile on this boy...

Joey had asked the Black Knight, "How come you never won today?"
To which the mean, ugly Black Knight replied: "Well, I just had a bad day. I guess it is because I didn't get enough sleep last night and I didn't eat my vegetables today. I should have eaten my broccoli."
Joey, wide eyed, said, "Really??"

And...He got to enjoy lots of rides too...:)
