Nicki's Recital...
She did a great job. In the end, she had a bit of a fumble with her words, but held it together to finish just fine. I am still figuring out my digital, and I forgot that when videoing, it is not good to zoom, it makes the video blurry. You will see in the video above. But her voice comes through great.
Here she is just after singing.
During the song, there is a long bridge of music, so Nicki handed out
candy canes to the audience during that time.
Here is Joe enjoying his treat.

Happy Birthday Joey!! December 1, 2007
Uncle Mike and Auntie Varley gave Joe tickets to his very first hockey game.
He was one happy little boy. And even happier that his team won!

CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME!!
Well, it has been awhile since I have updated this page...so watch out...there is going to be a LONG update! It might take 2 pages, so be sure to click "older posts" at the bottom of the page, to see if there is something you have missed in our "exciting life"!! :)
So...we told the kids we were going to California, and that made them very happy. But we didn't tell them the SURPRISE until the night before...We were going to Disneyland! They were quite surprised and very excited. We got to L.A., and went to The Pirates Dinner Adventure. Then the next day we went to Universal Studios. It was fun to watch their expressions as they saw things they don't normally see. Joe was very naive when stunts were being done, ducking everytime a gun was being shot our way. Finally asking me, "Mom, are those bullets real?" :) It was a reminder that he is only 6...nice to see he is still "little".
Then the next day was Disneyland and the following was California Adventure. Ryan didn't care to hug too many characters, but he fell in love with Goofy. Go figure...The rides were a sure hit...again, a few scareing Joey. The Indiana Jones ride was my favorite, and the kids liked the Matterhorn and Splash Mountain.
After all of the Amusement Parks, we headed down to see the FAMILY in Campo...
Rich, thanks so much for all of the fun. It was great to see Rusty after all those years, and great that it felt so comfortable. Your kids are GREAT...hope Lauren is adjusting alright.
Dad and Mom...thanks for all of the yummy meals! And thanks for having everyone over for us to see and visit.
I will stop rattling here and let you continue with the rest of the page and see the pictures...
