I figured it was time to update. Seems it has been a busy couple of weeks. Trying to finish up another bit of field work. Always a time consuming job...
The kids will be getting out of school next week. FINALLY! Seems like the school year has been long. (Bet I won't be saying that at the end of summer!)
Nicki has been busy singing away. Today she is singing "Coat of Many Colors" at the parents tea at school. Next week she has the talent show. She will be singing, "Tomorrow", from Annie. Along with a couple other events she will be singing "O Canada" at the school.
Poor Joe...decided he would like to start shaving last night...I guess there were whiskers on his finger because that is where he took a chunk from...Not a pretty site, and I think he kinda freaked himself out. Don't think he will be looking to shave again anytime soon.
(Reminded me of the time Dani, that you wanted to learn to shave and made quite a mess of you leg...ewwww!)
And Little Ryan...well, he is still just as cute as ever. Sneaky little stinker though! He is smart and knows just which heart strings to pull...
Well, I better close. I have to take Nicki's music to the school.
Hope everyone is enjoying their start of SUMMER...

Well, a few of you have asked about the triplets we had. Thought we would share with you the picture we took about an hour after they were born. Just getting ready to try to stand. I wish we had gotten a better face shot of them, as it was amazing how they had alot of the same markings.

Farm News...

Thought we would share with you a bit of Meier Farm news today. Last night we delivered triplets. I haven't downloaded the pictures yet, but will when I do. :) Until then, we will share with you some cow pictures...

Ever hear of a "Bovine Pedicure"??
This cow insists on drinking from the water trough with her feet inside...

Rainy day...

Well, it is a rainy day today, so it has given me ample time to play around with this thing. Many thanks to Jenny for helping me figure out the picture size. Although, I am not liking the blank upper right corner...what do you think? I don't know what or how I could put something in there. It is just looking "empty". Will have to play around some more. Ha.
I think I will post some pictures here...
Here is the Meier Family...(along with my neice in the front)...

It will be interesting to see if they work. These were taken this weekend at Julie and Kelly's wedding. Good timing to have new pictures. There will probably be plenty of Meier Kid pictures, but I am sure the "parental" pictures will be few and far between. Sorry...
Well, I have to go. The kids will be getting off the bus in about 12 minutes. There goes my quiet afternoon...
see ya.

The first posting...

Well, we thought we would try to keep family and friends updated on our "not-so-exciting" life by entering the world of Blogging. I try to send pictures via snail mail or email and they both take me so long to send. Maybe this way I can post and add pictures, and you can check them out at your leisure instead of waiting for me.

Right now I am trying to download a picture, and with my good ol' dial up connection, it seems to be taking awhile.

I will end this first post here. Hoping it works.

Welcome to our little corner of the web...
